In Teamforge 19.0, Teamforge does not offer a possibility to delete any of Baseline -> Definitions.
It might be confusing to users when there are baseline definition which are not used anymore still existing.

Comments

  • To be clear, is the request to have the ability to delete a baseline definition that was created by the logged in user? In other words, we should not allow user A to delete a baseline definition created by user B.

Also, what is the expectation around allowing user to delete baseline definition that has been used to create one or more baselines?

  • The expectation is to have the possibility to clean-up a project. The user shall see only the good "Baseline Definitions".
Privileged users shall have the possibility to remove "Baseline Definitions" which should not be used anymore.
I did not request who should have this privilege, but it makes sense to give this to the Creator. But as Teamforge does not have the notion of an "Originator", it should be up to the project admin to assign the privilege.

  • Starting TF 20.3, users with "Delete Baseline Definition" permission will have the ability to delete any baseline definitions
