Trackers should support a Carbon Copy user attribute.
When people are added to the Carbon Copy attribute they should be automatically be added to the artifact monitoring.
Also when people are removed from the Carbon Copy attribute they are removed from the monitoring (automatically, except when they submitted the artifact or they have it currently assigned).
This attribute represents the e-mail Carbon Copy behavior but then for Tracker artifacts.

I understand there are few additional clicks involved but can't the same can be accomplished via the "Users Monitoring" feature?

*) currently it is not possible to remove people from the monitoring list.
*) it would be a very convenient UI for the existing monitoring feature.
Also, as far as I know there is no historical tracking of who was added when and removed when for monitoring field while for a user defined field that's in the history. This is used by our teams that work with external customers efficiently.
