At present to create a document (which is an MS Word file) you have to upload the file when you create the Teamforge document entry. Our documents need a reference (which we use the Teamforge "docnnnn" number from the tool) and also a version number. Unfortunately you do not know the version number until you upload the file, and hence to include the document number, you have to upload a 2nd version where the only change is the inclusion of the document number. All of our new documents are at version 2 because of this.

Could we have the ability to create a document which has no content such that it is only a place-holder? When the document is then subsequently uploaded it becomes v1.

Alternatively, could we have the ability to overwrite an existing version with a new upload?
