NXP needs the clone artifact action needs to be differentiated from the default Create Artifact action. The multiple users from NXP has reported that they create trackers with workflows in which some fields are not visible during artifact creation but will be after artifact is created.

This issue happens while Cloning these artifacts to an identical tracker and it will only clone the fields that are shown during artifact creation. Even after creating an artifact through cloning the flex field information where lost.



Steps to Reproduce.

1. Say, I have created a tracker - Tracker A. In the Tracker A, create a text flex field say named as "test" and disable the "Display On Create" option. Then click on Save field.

2. Now in the tracker settings , select Tracker A and click on "Clone Tracker" and name the tracker as Tracker B.


3. Create a artifact in Tracker A. Once after creating the artifact, please enter the text values in the flex field created and then save it.

4. Now clone that artifact to the Tracker B. Now you will not see the text field "test" and its information. But after the artifact is created, then you will see the text filed "test" but there will not be any information on that field that is entered in Tracker A.


This issue happens as the "Display On Create" is disabled for that field but NXP expects that it should ignore the workflow / field "visible on create" functionality on cloning and the clone artifact action needs to be differentiated from the default Create Artifact action.
